Call them crazy… but they have their reasons
The not-so-secret secret world of ultra-endurance racing revealed. The lesson here is simple. Find out how far you can go when failure is legitimately an option. You might just learn a thing or two. Granted, you might not take on this race through the Tennessee hills, you should still be finding opportunities in your life when you are legitimately testing yourself.
Reminds me of this…
Reminds me of this…
“The sea’s only gifts are harsh blows, and occasionally the chance to feel strong. Now I don’t know much about the sea, but I do know that that’s the way it is here. And I also know how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong but to feel strong. To measure yourself at least once. To find yourself at least once in the most ancient of human conditions. Facing the blind death stone alone, with nothing to help you but your hands and your own head.” - Primo Levi

The Elegant Stylings of Bob Ross... Because.
A great way to unwind after a long day is to throw on the philosopher and painter, Bob Ross (as long as you don't feel defeated by not being able to draw fluffy clouds the same way he does!)

O Me, Oh Life…
Oh me! Oh life! of the questions of these recurring,
Of the endless trains of the faithless, of cities fill’d with the foolish,
Of myself forever reproaching myself, (for who more foolish than I, and who more faithless?)
Of eyes that vainly crave the light, of the objects mean, of the struggle ever renew’d,
Of the poor results of all, of the plodding and sordid crowds I see around me,
Of the empty and useless years of the rest, with the rest me intertwined,
The question, O me! so sad, recurring—What good amid these, O me, O life?
Answer.
That you are here—that life exists and identity,
That the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse.
